Full Description
You'll appreciate the cozy living room after a day at the beach. Relax in the comfy window seat overlooking the tranquil Japanese Garden framed by giant traveler palms. Everything you need in home entertainment is here. We even supply the popcorn! Enjoy SkyTV, a plasma screen, DVD player & library, CD player, and wireless Internet. The Great Room has a stunning two story vaulted beamed ceiling and is surrounded by French doors that open onto a Spanish tile terrace and an emerald palm-lined garden. A gorgeous mission style two tier wrought iron chandelier is suspended over a hand crafted dining table with a carved monkey accent. It opens up to seat 12. This room was designed without walls for free flowing conversation between the kitchen, dining room and living room. GE appliances, utensils, and custom designed cabinets are every cook's dream. This room was inspired by artist Frida Kahlo's own kitchen at her Blue House in Coyacan, Mexico. Spectacular hand painted tile reproductions of her famous paintings are the focal point. Frida's fruit themes grace the splash board behind the sink. "Roots" and "Frida & Diego" adorn large niches in the breakfast bar. Everyone tends to gather in the kitchen anyway, so the bright red, blue, green and gold colors make it especially inviting and festive. Why not take it a step further and pamper yourself by hiring the house chef? Each suite is unique. The focal point of the romantic second story master suite is the hand carved African king sized four poster canopy bed draped with an amazing animal print designer fabric. A comfy window seat is lined with jungle print pillows that invite you to lean back and read a great book, watch the monkeys, or take a decadent afternoon nap. The second suite is suspended over the living room, and boasts a 260° view overlooking the Great Room and Japanese Entrance Garden. A welcoming window seat provides extra seating or can function as an extra bed. The two twin beds can be combined to make a king bed. The third suite lets you enjoy the ultimate in privacy. This first floor bedroom has it's own entrance, kitchenette, bathroom and coffeemaker. No need to disturb anyone if the call of howler monkeys wakes you up earlier. Take your morning cup of delicious Costa Rican coffee out onto your own private patio and appreciate the lovely tree garden and early rising monkeys from your own Moroccon tiled table. |
